• Clair Dean (Smith) Helms, Class of '47, passed away on August 13, 2026, at Meadows Park & Rehabilitation Center in Vidalia, GA., after an extended illness.

• Janice (Morris) Johnson, Class of '60, passed away on August 12, 2026, after an extended illness.

• Bobby "Bob" Braddy, Class of '54, passed away August 7, 2026, at his home following a brief illness.

• Lydia McLean Ray, Class of '66, died Sunday, August 2, 2026, at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia after an extended illness. 

• Robin L. Moore, Class of '70, of Wildwood, Florida died Saturday, July 25, 2026, at her daughter’s home in Jacksonville, Florida following an extended illness.

• Christine (Black) Sikes, Class of '60, passed away July 13, 2026, at Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah following a sudden illness while surrounded by her loving family.

• Jane Daniel, age 79, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Meadows Park in Vidalia.

• Mary Virginia Gay, Class of '63, on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia following an extended illness.

• Edna Rose Moseley O'neal, Class '72, died Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia following a lengthy illness.

• Robert “Skipper” Wynn, Class of '73, passed away at his home on June 6, 2025, after an extended illness.

• Hubert B. Sowell, Class of '61, of the Ohoopee Community, died Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia following an extended illness.

•  Billy “Bill” Andrew Braddy, Class of '50, died Saturday, May 2, 2026, at The Oaks Bethany Vidalia following an extended illness. 

• Caroll (Odom) Godbee, Class of '61, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026, in Vidalia, GA.

• Madeline Grimes Glatfelder, Class of '66, of Montrose, CO., passed away on April 5, leaving behind a life defined by service, compassion and unwavering devotion to those she loved.

• Donnell (Collins) Cartrell, Class of '57, passed away April 17, 2026, at Meadows Park & Health in Vidalia following an extended illness.

• Ronald Alton Powell, Class of '58, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at his home following an extended illness.

• Franklin “Red” Kilgore, Class of '70, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the Community Hospice House following an extended illness. 

• Barbara Grace (Thompson) Meadows, Class of '50, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026 on Saint Simons Island.

• David Stewart, Class of '67, paid away on Monday, December 22, 2025, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.​
